Hoppy Boy India Pale Ale is Twisted Pine Brewing Company’s flagship beer. With a rocky ivory head, star-bright golden orange color, and massive hop aroma, Hoppy Boy is the quintessential American IPA. Citrus, resin, and a hint of malt not only greet your nose, but also your taste buds, while a smooth, lingering bitterness leaves your palate refreshed with every sip. Hoppy Boy IPA is a perfect marriage of malts and hops that is as bold as it is balanced, and thus exemplifies what American craft beer is all about.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass.
A: Pours a mostly clear amber color with a 1 finger head and some lacing.
S: Sweet malt aromas accompany the hops.
T: The taste on this one disappoints. It tastes watered down. It's bitter, but very underwhelming.
M: Medium bodied with plenty of carbonation.
O: This isn't one I'll be buying again.

Light yellow lager-ish color; extremely see-through.
Frothy head & lacing.
Nose is of corn & lager...not a ton of hops coming through. Not looking (or smelling) good so far.
Tastes of awful macro lager. No hops, no nothing. Decaying corn? Drain pour.

Hey hey Ray whatdya say, my old homie Ray used to work here and he turned me on to this beer first. Pours somewhere in between yellow and amber, small 1/4" white head. Aroma was a little bit of pine and bitterness.
Taste was the usual heavier than pale malt, some crystal, the stuff you run into all the time. Not a ton of hop flavor, sticky and resinous. For its name, there isn't a ton of pine to the flavors. Another average caramel malt and C hop ipa.
