22oz bottle

A- Pours a dark black color with a nice light tan head with a good amount of retention and lacing.

S- The aroma is sweet chocolatey malt with some roasted coffee and espresso notes as well.

T- The taste Is dark roasted malts up front with bold espresso flavors and some alcohol warmth in the finish. There is some nice espresso notes in the nose, the espresso flavors really shine in the taste as well.

M- The mouthfeel is medium bodied with good amount of carbonation.

D- Overall, this is a pretty solid beer. I'm a big fan of coffee/espresso stouts and this is one that was worth trying.

Poured from the bottle into a glass.

Midnight black; some light passes at the edges.

HUGE dark khaki head; hard to pour. Decent lace.

HUGE chocolate milk nose; you can smell it across the room as soon as the bottle is open.
Medium/thick mouthfeel.

Strong chocolate milk flavor here; espresso hits you on the back end. Bold; tasty.

Not an everyday beer but a nice one for cold winter days. By far the best Twisted Pine I've had yet.

L: pour a thin black beer.
S: big coffee, nice bold aromas. Not bitter, but huge coffee and smells great.
T: like the nose, nice coffee. Lacks the intensity of an imperial coffe stout. But for 6%, very nice.
F: thin as expected, but very smooth.
O: a nice coffe stout with low abv

This is a pretty good coffee beer, but nothing special. I got tons of bitter coffee from the espresso, but the mouthfeel was crazy thin. It drank a lot more like an iced coffee than a coffee beer.
