APPEARANCE: Straw yellow with a really good looking, white, fluffy head - about three-quarters of an inch thick. Decent retention on the head with the bigger bubbles popping as I watch it. A great deal of carbonation rises from the bottom as well, lively looking beer. It is a little cloudy as well. This is one of the better looking yellow beers I have seen.
SMELL: It smells pretty straight forward like bell peppers, maybe with a little jalapeno or habanero. An ever so slight breadiness lurks way back behind the peppers somewhere.
TASTE: Light, crisp and bready flavors start out the sip while a mild pepper flavor eases the drinker into the sip. That mild flavor quickly manages to pack a punch though as the hotter chilies kick in mid-dip and finish very strong.
MOUTHFEEL: Light and refreshing at the tip of the tongue and at the front of your mouth, but a nice, moderate chili burn coats the back of the throat and the lips after a few sips. Halfway through the glass this is not overwhelming, but it is a reasonably spicy beer.
OVERALL: Good take on the style. I'm impressed with this one from Twisted Pine.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. From notes.
A: Pours a hazyish golden color. There are two fingers worth of white-colored head, and the retention is pretty terrible. No lacing is left behind. Not exactly a good-looking brew.
S: The pepper character is great: they're both sufficiently spicy and nicely fruity. It doesn't have the overdone spice of Ghost Face Killah, either. Not much else, but at least the chilies have a nice aroma to them.
T: Slightly fruity to start, with a nice peppery finish - this is hot, but not over the top at all. The problem is when you take away the chilies from the rest of the beer. The base beer is more or less a blank canvas, providing nothing else but a way to showcase the chili spice. At the end of the day, I want more than just a nice heat.
M: Good body, perhaps too much body in fact. The chili heat keeps the finish moderately dry, at least. Carbonation is low - this could certainly stand to be a bit stronger.
O: While it's pretty insipid, I think this would make a fantastic chili adjunct - it's not over the top like Ghost Face Killah, yet still brings a wonderful pepper character. Too bad that's its only real note to speak of. Try it once, if you want.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a patch of bubbles in the center and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of various chili peppers are present in the nose. I'm assuming these are the blend of Anaheim, Fresno, Habanero Jalapeño, and Serrano chili peppers.
T: Like the smell, the taste has lots of flavors of the five varieties of chili peppers and has a strong dose of associated spiciness that persists and lingers through the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The chili peppers lend some heat to the mouthfeel and burn your mouth.
O: This beer is very hot and spicy, but if you can handle very spicy food like atomic wings it is manageable. This reminds me a lot like the brewery's Ghost Face Killah, except that that beer has little drinkability whereas this isn't nearly as hot because it doesn't have the intense heat of the ghost face chiles.
