Our chili beer is made with five different kinds of fresh chili peppers. Rich pepper aroma greets you when the bottle is opened, followed by its satisfying beer taste and then subtle spiciness.

Don’t know if it’s the altitude or a flat lander being in the mountains but the pepper aroma and taste followed by a nice burn is well done. It deserves more love.

My first time trying a chile beer, poured into a tumbler glass.

Appearance : First thing I notice is lots of sediment, suspended in a 80% opaque golden haze of a body. The head pours 2 fingers and recedes to a small ring leaving hilly lace on the sides. The sediment could be finely ground pepper seeds, or tons of yeast and carbonation bubbles. Either way it's unique and exciting.

Smell : Eyes watering from the smell already. Fresh cut green bell pepper, Serrano, Jalapeno, Banana Pepper. Some malty character behind that. It's a very spicy aroma. It could be louder, though.

Taste : This is a hot beer. Woo! Nice blonde ale character sits behind waves of green pepper skins - namely jalapeno and Serrano, crushed seeds of that variety, and it finishes on mild green bell pepper flavor with the lingering heat of the hotter peppers. It actually ends up tasting like a mouthful of red pizza peppers from the shaker.

Feel : Medium bodied. Ends semi-dry with natural heat generated from the spices. Fits the beer well.

Overall : A unique experience. I'd recommend it to anybody who likes peppers and who likes beer. Drink up!

Pale color with almost no head. Pepper skin and plano on the nose, taste has a very mild chili taste with a subtle IPA backbone. Drinkable but not too impressive.

Had some nice heat. Better than drinking a crappy Bud or Coors any day.
