I believe this has been revived, but either way, here goes the review:

Pours an effervescent & hazed straw color with 1 finger of white head. Beer cleared nicely & possessed very good head retention & lacing

S: Smokeyness & ancho chilles

T: Rich smokey chilles up front. Chilles heat surfaces as this warms along with some honey malt notes. Finishes slightly sweet, a little hot & a little dry

MF: Creamy, medium bodied & perfect carbonation

Drank easy. This & Amicas chilles beer are the 2 best I've had. Would go great with Tex/Mex or BBQ

Drank one out of a pint glass and the second out of a snifter.

A - Nice golden color with a small head that dissipates quickly.

S - Ripe chilies.

T - The taste is just as advertised. Chilies! This is a straight forward beer with a rich blend of chilies that are light to medium in heat with a bit of sweetness. The sweetness comes out better when drinking from the snifter.

M - Smooth but tongue tingling from the chilies.

O - A really good chili beer that delivers some spice.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass.... (drank 1/2 the brew.... other 1/2 added to chili)

A: Poured a clear golden color with 1/2 a fingers worth of head that dissipates very quickly with no lacing.

S: Without a surprise it smells like chili peppers... Hot with a little corn sweetness mixed in... This is the best part .

T: Not bad.... a straight up simple lager right up front then the peppers kick in....

M: Light bodied, almost watery, with moderate carbonation

D: Of the other chili beers I've tried this is the best one... It is what it is a chili beer.... As for my chili I made with the other 1/2 of the beer... If was fantastic, the best chili I've ever made... I will look for this beer for my next chili.

Poured into a shaker pint glass.

Look: Slightly hazy adjunct lager color. The head disappeared so fast I don't remember the color. No lacing.

Aroma: Heat from peppers greets the nose.

Taste: Peppers, all the way. I only recognize Jalepeno, but I also taste green bell pepper in this, and it gives the beer some authenticity. Pepper heat and taste all around.

Mouthfeel: Hot but a light body.

Overall: Authentic and hot with heat. But nothing I'd want to session.

Sampled tonight on 1/11/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a pilsner glass.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a large white fizzy head that settles down to just a thin line. Spotty lacing was seen with each sip. Lots of bubbles from the carbonation. The aroma of various peppers (actually Anaheim, Fresno, Serrano, Jalapeno & Habenero peppers) hits your nose right up front with some grain. The taste at first starts out sweet then the heat of the peppers hits your tongue with some heat BUT doesn't last long after, then the taste of malt. Not overpowering at all. Stronger than "Dave's Chili Beer" with the single pepper at the bottom of the bottle. Overall, this is pretty good and is different.

I picked this up in the sampler crate pack, enjoyed chilled in a pils glass.
The color is golden hued with good clarity and fizzy soda-like come and go head. The carbonation rises rapidly. The smell is faintly peppery more earthy and vegetal than anything really but you get the sense there is some peppers involved by the smell. The feel is good with a nice balance of heat and carbonation with a mild hint of sweetness and very dry finish.

The taste is good, peppery and dry with a subtstantial heat in the pepper flavor with a very light grain flavor in the background almost chalky with a lightly vegetal pepper taste that lingers after the swallow. The drinkability is very good - nicely spiced and pretty nice when paired with food I wouldn't really want to try to have a session with Billy's Chillies though

- Timberline series. Anaheim, Fresno, Serrano, Jalapeno, & Habanero peppers.

A: A fizzy, dirty white head is slightly bubbly atop, and was quick to dissipate to a polished surface. Tangerine orange with a medium translucent quality ahs a misty haze of suspended floaties. Like the extra suspended material which saves this from a below average visual, most likely peppery remains.

S: Jalapeno and habenero peppers get noticed, light to medium intensity, no where near thier Ghost face killa levels.

T: Flavor had a quick sweet peppery start, some warming of heat moves in, Jalapeno and habanero come late on the swallow with a distinct character. Again managable, not over the top heat intesity like thier ghost face killa. I noticed the serrano, has a spicy mixture of sweet malt and heat that lingers with a gentle conclusion.

M: some heat, spicy and warm pepper with a light to medium body. The heat grows the longer you hold on glowing the inner cheeks with a kindering warrmth.

O: Overall drinkable, nice blend of peppers, a little sting on the backend, warming glow of peppers that make you aware but not uncomfortable. Its a chili pepper beer, plain and simple, it brings a modest display of heat range, limited range of complexity beyond the peppers and a novel approach that is somewhat decent but may fall a bit short of good.

Twisted Pine Billy's Chilies

Appearance: straw golden with a large head initially that dissipated into nothing.

Smell: sweet peppers!

Taste: a blend of many peppers that goes down with a spice burn. There is a small hint of malts. It's actually fairly difficult to keep discerning flavors after drinking some of it.

Mouthfeel: smooth yet burning.

Overall:
This is one of the oddest flavor medleys I've had for a beer. It is spicy and unique. It is also like salsa -without the chunks of course. Did I mention the burning?
