I revisited The Lander Bar June 12, 2010, in town for the Lander Brew Fest.
It has a great western decor, a couple of TVs, and a good sized bar. I looked at the taps and saw they had 8 brews from the next door Lander Brewing Company.
I started off with a pint of the Stage Driver Stout(labeled as Down and Out Stout here) and found it to be an excellent example of the style. I followed that up with a Rock Chock Rye and yeah, I dug that one as well and for $3.50 a pint, you can't go wrong.
I ordered a cheeseburger(HUGE) and waffle fries and both were well made and delicious. Total for the 2 beers and lunch came to under $15.00. I liked that. ;^)
I consider the folks in Lander have a great thing going on in their local beer scene; I wish Casper had it *that* good.
Bottom line: If you find yourself in Lander, this is a must visit.

A really interesting place, laid back and casual, a combination of a bar — the Lander Bar — and an order-at-the-counter restaurant — the Gannett Grill.
The history of the place is storied, fascinating, and worth reading — see their website.
In addition to normal bar service, beer on tap from the next-door Lander Brewing Company is served.
The decor is a mosaic of old west, fishing, and mountaineering (National Outdoor Leadership School is down the street), and a couple TV screens.
Service is very friendly and fast, and the food is generous and good.
Seating is indoors, or outdoors on picnic tables shared with the brewery.
