Stopped by for an early dinner and beer on a Sunday afternoon.
Great looking place, upscale but comfortable, very nice patio area.
All the beer and food were top notch so full scores on quality.
Have to report a ding on service. Place was pretty dead but our server was split between multiple tables. Took a while to get our orders in, and took forever to get a beer, in fact our beer beat our food by 5 seconds. Little glitches on our orders too, I didn't get one of the beers I ordered on the pick your own flight, our server mentioned he hadn't seen one of my selections in a bit, I think he just switched it out and didn't update me. Also pushed one of the prepackaged flights on my friend, but didn't name the beers in the flight. The men's room was out of towels as well for the close to 2 hours we hung out. All in all, picky kind of complaints, but given the costs involved here, I'm expecting a higher level.
Selection is very well thought out and very nice examples of what we can get in Texas. The Live Oak Hefe was exceptional. Not a ton of choices, but again, high quality ones.
Food was very tasty, had the pulled pork sandwich and thinking about it is making me hungry again.
Value; it's high end quality and that comes at a price. $50 for a burger, sandwich, couple of flights and a full beer. Factor in valet, and tip, well, it's not an everyday destination.
Bottom line, glad I went and will visit again.
