On-tap at the Mikkeller pub in Copenhagen.
Pours a hazy copper color with a half-finger off-white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving decent lacing.
Smells of good amounts of wheat backed by nondescript tart fruits and funk. Also present are surprisingly large amounts of grapefruit hop aromas.
Tastes good. Wheat and light malt flavors kick things off and are joined quickly by solid amounts of funk. Midway through the sip hop flavors make their way into things with good amounts of grapefruit flavors. The hops carry through to a tart and crisp ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a solid thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I finished my glass without any problems and could have another.
Overall I wasn't sure what to expect from this beer but it was certainly worth trying. I'm not sure this would be the best lambic normally however the gratuitous dry-hopping makes it more than interesting.
