On tap at Monk's Cafe Mad Monday event, 3/2014. Only 26 kegs produced (according to beer menu)
A- pours a hazy pale golden orange color with a small creamy white head that retains for a short while, eventually disappearing almost completely
S- very sweet on the nose with lots of fruity esters of grape and peach, just a hint of oak
T- leafy ripe tomatoes with herbal, earthy and woodsy flavors. Sweet grape and peach flavors eventually lead to a dry finish
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a silky finish
O- light fruit sweetness mixes well with a subtle barrel flavor and aroma

On tap at Monk's, Philly, PA.
Supposedly only 26 kegs of this available.
Poured into a cervoise, impenetrably murky, pumpkin orange color, low carbonation apparently, with no head or lacing at all. Looked like a glass of carrot juice. Aroma of sweet malts--quite obvious that this has a blonde ale base--light notes of white wine and herbs. In the taste, lots of honey, white grapes, sweet, with an herbal hoppiness, hints of stone fruit, and a very subtle vanilla/barrel element. There was a slight influx of neutral alcohol, but the higher ABV was well-hidden...I'd have guessed this around 7-8% at the most, certainly not 12. Medium body and a slightly chewy mouthfeel. Decent overall, but one pour was enough for me.
