Smell: Faint carmel notes on nose.
Appearance: Light yellow color. Slightly cloudy.
Mouth Feel: Thick, almost syrupy mouth feel.
Taste: Nice balance of piney & citrusy hops with the malt. No lingering/cloying sweetness as with some double IPAs. Maybe trace of dried apricots.

look: 3.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.25
Appearance: Insanely hazy yellow/orange color with only a small ring of head and just about zero lacing.
Smell: Heavy. It just smells dank as all hell. Pure hops. Major citrus and tropical fruit, but almost an equal amount of piney character as well. Pale malt sweetness is there quite a bit as well. Very nice on the nose.
Taste: Those heavy aromas just don't translate all-too-well too the taste, in my opinion. Massively bitter with insane levels of pine that almost give off any ashy sort of flavor just because it's so damn earthy/dank. Just an intense bitterness that I think detracts from what might be a pretty nice beer. Insanely unbalanced, despite the noticeable malt in the background on the aroma. It tastes more like hop water than beer, which I don't think is ever a good thing... there NEEDS to be a solid malt presence for a beer to succeed, I think. The burps are like belching a hop cone, which is nice, but this beer just isn't doing it for me... it's gone overboard, and needs quite a bit of tweaking. The feel is medium and almost creamy with a moderate carbonation. It works well, but it accentuates the bitterness negatively. If this were sweeter, it'd work more effectively.
Not impressed. This has a nice nose on it, but the bitterness is just too high for my liking -- and this is coming from a guy who absolutely adores Palate Wrecker from Green Flash. I wouldn't buy/drink this again unless I was for some reason craving something ridiculously bitter.
