This White IPA is the 2nd in a series of 6 different & unique IPA's crafted with Baying Hound Aleworks. This IPA features a fruity aroma derived from a farmhouse yeast strain that is bolstered by the tropical flavors of Citra and Galaxy hops. A generous touch of wheat and oats soften up the malt to finish bright and refreshing.

A: Drank from bottle, didn't catch a good glimpse.
S: Smells very familiar. Sort of like a floral air freshener. A hint of fruitiness.
T: Extremely light, but great! It makes me wonder how they fit 7% alcohol in there with no strong taste. It is very pleasant, and taste like it smells (minus the air freshener). No bitterness at all, which might be a turn-off to most IPA fans.
M: Very lightly carbonated. Perhaps mine was flat? One of the least carbonated beers I've ever had.

Poured on tap into a shaker pint glass at Adega cafe.
A light orange to yellowish amber body, somewhat opaque, with some slow rising pin head sized bubbles is presented. Light half finger head created and presented slightly off white. Finishes with some good sheets of lace while drinking.
Real biscuity and dry nose, with hints of light grapefruit and pine. Dry sensing, quite grainy also.
Palate seems to match but comes with more of a hop presence. Bitter grapefruit with large biscuity and dry crackery sensations. Parching finish and almost alcohol drying mouthfeel. Hints of crisp and possible chewy wheat like density and pine freshness. The dryness really holds on the finish even providing some minty herbality. Fruity almost English Bitter like sensing esters as well.
Real interesting beer from a brewery in Maryland I've never head about, wonder what else they have in store?

A: Light golden
S: Farmhouse and citrus on the nose.
T: More of that delicious farmhouse and citrus.
M: Not heavy at all. A light, dry finish.
O: A very, very nice white IPA. It's light. It's refreshing. It's got a great citrusy hop character to it. Lots of good flavor here. It's not light in a bad way, but a good one. It's not a super heavy IPA. Absolutely perfect for a hot summer day.
