From 02/11/14 notes. Big thanks to BeerLawyer85 for sharing a growler of this; thanks Ross, big Want of mine. Poured into my Bell's tulip.
a - Pours a murky, amber-brown color with one inch of off white head and low carbonation evident.
s - Smells of citrus hops, fruity malts, pine hops, lemon zest, light floral notes, and some light earthy notes. Nice nose, lots of citrus and fruit. Liking the nose a lot.
t - Tastes of citrus hops, fruity malts, light pine hops, earthy notes, bread, grains, spice, and yeast. Taste is good but seems less hoppy than the nose; a step down for me.
m - Medium body and very little carbonation. No bitterness but growler seems to have lost some carbonation. Pretty easy to drink.
o - Overall a DIPA that is quite good, though the taste wasn't as hoppy as I was hoping for. Easy to drink, but I'd like to try it again, preferably on tap. Worth seeking out.
EDIT: 04/16/14: Had another growler of this and it was much better. Awesome piney and citrusy nose which was great. Bumping nose up to a 4.5

Served on tap into a shaker glass.
A- Poured a hazy orange color with white soapy head that left splashy lace.
S- Some big tropical fruit notes especially mango, some peach, some citrus, and quite a bit of malt sweetness.
T- Lots of sweet and juicy orange marmalade notes, mango, peach, and grapefruit notes. Lots of sweetness from the malt and medium level of bitterness.
M- Lots of warming, full bodied, prickly carbonation, slightly sticky, but easy drinking for the ABV and fuller body.
O- This DIPA is bursting with hop flavor and a lot of sweetness. Overall, it is really good but I prefer some of Boneyard's other hoppy offerings to it like RPM.

Scored a growler of this through the Home Brew Talk Make A Wish. One of my top wants for quite some time, so I couldn't be happier to be the recipient of this one! Poured into a snifter.
A: Pours a dark golden/copper with just under a finger of white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing.
S: Strong aroma of citrus hops, pine, and grapefruit. Not a hop bomb, but still super dank and incredibly well balanced.
T: This beer is so sweet, I have a very hard time believing the ABV. Awesome flavor of citrus blend, pine, a mild malt backbone, all so well balanced. As it warms up a bit the malt and pine start to come forward, but there is so much sweet flavor that it maintains a great balance.
M: Carb-wise, you never know what to expect out of a growler. I was so happy when I popped it open to an aggressive 'pssst'. Carbed very well, leaves a slightly dry after taste.
O: Seek it out. Don't trade whalez bro for it, but if you have the chance to try this, do not pass it up. The balance of citrus, hop, pine, and malt is perfect. The ABV is hidden so well you'd think you're drinking a session. I'm at this point always ISO hop venom.
