Sampled at various spots around town in Eugene (16 tons, Growler Nation), but most recently enjoyed at a friend's house from a growler (who picked it up at Growler Nation).

The beer pours a somewhat hazy golden peach color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose this beer is just gorgeous, with the mosaic hops really coming through. There is a considerable amount of pineapple, tropical fruit and dry citrus, but it still comes across as a beer that won't be all that sweet. On the palate the beer is very light and easy to drink, but with a decent amount of light tropical fruit and bitterness. The beer is a bit too light on its feet for my taste, but considering that the abv. is only 4.4%, it's impressive how much flavor this beer has. Mouthfeel is light with a long, lightly bitter finish, and it's truly amazing how well balanced this pale ale is. The finish is quite dry, but there's enough sweetness to bouy the hoppy bitterness in this beer. Drinkability is just exceptional... I could easily see downing an entire growler of this stuff over several hours and wondering where it all went.

Impressive.

(It appears Boneyard made a Bravo and Simcoe hop version of this beer as well. Haven't tried it yet, but hopefully soon....)
