On tap at Hunahpu Day. Served in a wine glass.

Appearance - Light yellow. A little hazy. Nice white head.

Smell - Citrus hoppiness. Not a whole lot else.

Taste - Nice citrus hop flavor. Light graininess. Pilsner malts actually lend a distinct flavor. Mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Very light. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Nice session beer. Tough to judge it very accurately with just a little taster, but it was pretty flavorful for the quantity I had.

On tap @ Apex

Clear golden yellow with a foamy whey head.

Lightly citric, grassy notes with a crackery backbone.

A quite well done session pale ale. Tasty and flavor while still low ABV and drinkable.

Pours a very bright and somewhat clear gold color with a pretty nice white head.

Aromas is bit odd to me. I kind of get a cat pee like smell. Also very floral, with some tropical fruitiness, and stinky resin. Weird, some whiffs I like this, others not so much.

Taste is light up front, light cracker and dry creamy almost sherbet like sweetness. Finish is fruity, with some resin, and very floral fresh hop notes.

Mouthfeel is very clean, smooth, and soft. Very nice for the style this beer is shooting for.

Overall, this beer was a head scratcher for me. I wasn't overly thrilled with the nose, that odd slight cat pee note through me off. But after I got over that, I actually enjoyed sipping this one. Strange beer, maybe I'm just not a fan of mosaic hops?

On tap at Engine House 9 on 8.25.14

Smells like a lighter rpm, taste is there, just a bit watered down compared to the big Boneyard boys. At 4% how can you complain or compare.

Growler from Mainbrew.

Pouring a clear light yellow with a dense, white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is great! Bright citrus, mostly lemony and grapefruit-like, with a touch of floral character. Being a 4% APA, there is no malt character to speak of. The palate opens with a blend of lemon flavor, grapefruit bitterness, a little floral character and some additional citrus. Malt character is non-existent with no sweetness resulting in a bone-dry palate. The finish is dry, just barely avoiding being watery like many hoppy session beers end up being, and has flavors of lemon and grapefruit. Minimal resin character as well. Solid stuff.
