Brewed by Strange especially for my One Thousand Four Hundred and Eighty-seventh rating. Allegedly a chipotle porter. Poured a dark brown/black color with a huge light brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, roasted malt and vanilla. On the palate, this one is light to medium bodied, and a little thin, with flavors of cocoa powder, roasted malt and vanilla, but sadly no real chile flavors. Just kidding, congrats Ratman.

On tap at Strange Brewing poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of roastiness, earthiness, cocoa, ch ipotles and a hint of vanilla. Palae was medium bodie and smooth with a lightly warming finish. Flavors of roastiness, cocoa, earthiness and light chipotles with a smooth lightly warming roasty finish.

This beer was brewed by Strange for Ratman197s 5000th beer review. Congrats, Ratman!
On tap Wednesday at Strange.
Poured a dark reddish brown color with a small tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, smoke, and a bit of coffee. Taste was roasted malt, smoke, some chocolate, and a wee bit of vanilla. I didn't pick up any pepper, either on the nose or the pallate. A very quaffable brew but one that was somewhat of a letdown to me.
Congrats, again, Ratman. Looking forward to your 10000th review brew.
