Had a pint at the draughthouse.
A - Light orange. With a very small head that disappeared almost at once. Not sure why they call this an amber.
S - faintly malty with some caramel, minimal hop aroma
T - Best way to describe it is watery. Very little carbonation and a slight malt sweetness.
M - Light and crisp.
D - It goes down easily because there isn't much body, but the lack of complexity or much flavor doesn't really make we want another.
Thirsty Planet is a new brewer, so maybe this will improve with time.

On tap at the Draught House in Austin.
The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is pretty straight forward with a lot of caramel malt. The flavor is a mix of caramel and toffee malt. I also get some chocolate, earthy and grassy hops and some iced tea notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

growler courtesy of fthomasl, thanks dawg! Pours a lightly hazed amber color with a small tan head that leaves some spotty lace.
Nose is surprisingly nice, caramel and toffee with a few dallops of sugar. Malts are nice, bold and varied. Nice hop aroma too, bright and tropical.
Taste is pretty big, lots of hop flavor and tons of bitterness. Lingers on and on... Malts are no slouch either. Loads of sweet toffee and burnt toast. Not bad, but a little homebrewey. Not much depth and the flavors dont meld together all that well. Its almost a bit too much going on here, the beer could be simplified dramatically.
