Dark copper in body with a deep tan head which hangs around for a while leaving a sticky lacing clinging to the glass that hangs out for the duration. Quite dark for an American IPA.

The hops on the aroma are secondary to tea leaves and biscuit malt. The hops that are present are parts floral, pine, or woody. It's kind of hard to tell for sure since they are so subdued.

Flavor similarly leaves a bit to be desired. I guess there are some woody and pine hops. Again there are some tea leaves and copious malt, which really isn't even totally identifiable but I guess biscuit. A bit watered down and lacking the tasty hop punch of its more representative counterparts.

Heavy in body for the style with generous carbonation.

For reasons listed above this was primarily a disappointment. I expected more as I understand they make some decent brews. Would still try a different style from the People's Pint.

Drank on tap at the People's Pint in Greenfield, MA.

Appearance: Clear filtered and a bit dark for an IPA. Minimal head that left some lacing on the glass.

Smell: More malty than hoppy, but also floral and a bit like tea.

Taste: Much like it smells. It's too floral for me. I don't mind a bit floral, but this tastes like it had flowers and/or tea soaking in the beer before it was served. After that, there's malt and it finishes bitter like an IPA should. There's very little citrus - maybe a hint of pine, but I couldn't get past how floral it tasted. It's also not the best balanced IPA, as I could taste the alcohol even though it's a low ABV IPA.

Mouthfeel: Fine. Not too syrupy, the carbonation is good, but it was hard for me to get past the taste.

The Pint has some great food, and I do like a couple of their beers, but their IPA could use reworking in my opinion.

No visible dating information and this brewery is unlisted on Dating Beer.

Poured from the 22 oz. bottle into a stemmed tulip glass.

a: Appealing clear copper with orange highlights when seen through light, a finger thick white head rose belatedly and receded quickly to thin surface foam and patchy lacing.

s: Mild indeterminate fruit, and some pine.

t: Considerable hop bite over an unusual fruit and grassy vegetal combination. Bitterness lingers at the sides of the tongue. The grassy notes become more prominent as it warms. May be from bottle conditioning, but it sure tastes like an unusually strong wet hop IPA. Big hop bite tends to mislead that it has a higher ABV than it does.

m: Medium,

o: A uniquely flavored IPA in my experience. Surprisingly enjoyable. Blindfolded I might even believe this was a double IPA, the hops are that strong. And while "grassy" and "vegetal" may not sound that appealing, they dominate this beer's flavor in a good way that makes you want to keep sipping, and be sad when it's all gone.

A hippy pale ale with condescending quips about being environmentally friendly on the 22 ounce bottle. I can support the cause but don't be a dick about it. Drank this brew out of a frosted 16 oz pint glass, poured limp and lacking in effervescents to a cloudy, amber color. Terrific notes of burnt caramel, resin and mild grapefruit . Taste is a pleasant and uncommon blend of tangy grapefruit, caramel and a hint of dark tea. The 5.5% abv is weak for an IPA and I could probably down a few of these. Not a solid beer for a chilly late fall day but ideal for porch drinking outside in the waning days of august summer. As a standard IPA you'd be disappointed , as a quality session style beer it's incredibly drinkable and rewarding.

Bomber > Pint Glass

A - Pours an amber color 1 finger of white sudsy head, little lacing.
S - Grapefruit juice, some pine, hop resin, caramel malts.
T - Follows the aroma pretty close, but its more malty on the end, in front you get some citrus hop traits.
M - Fades fast and somewhat watery.
O - Just an average IPA, nothing outstanding.

No freshness info anywhere on the bottle.

a: Slightly hazy golden copper; poured with a small, fizzy head.

s: Plenty of caramel, lesser amounts of citrus rind, and a little pine. Not very aromatic overall.

t: Mirrors the smell for the most part. The citrus comes on a little stronger and the sugary caramel isn't as potent.

m: Relatively light in body and carbonation.

o: Not bad, but there are too many better ipa's with easy to read freshness info to make this worth buying.

Dark gold to light brownish colored beer. Light white head on top with some lacing.

Lots of caramel malt aroma up front with some medicinal/citrus hop aroma underneath. Sugary sweet smell continues, almost like chocolate.

Caramel malt flavors lead the way with the first sip. Medium hop bitterness backs it up. Slick, oily medicinal hop flavors round out the taste.

Medium body, good mouthfeel with a semi-dry finish.

More caramel forward than I prefer in an IPA. This leans a little heavily towards malt and away from hops. The bitterness is nice and the aftertaste is clean. An easy drinker but could use a bigger punch from the hops.
