Thought it seemed a little too early to have it out but People's Pint had their Oktoberfest out. The beer had a clear, orange-red color to it with no real lacing. Aromas were generally yeasty with hints of fall spice. Taste had a generally bittersweet taste to it. Mouthfeel had a good crispness and body to it, making it refreshing. Overall, pretty good.

German-style refillable growler filled at People's Pint yesterday.

First imperial pint glass pours with a 1/4" beige head, which quickly fades and retreats to the rim. Lacing is long-lasting over the clear darkish amber brew. Aroma is pretty balanced, but tending towards malt. Flavor is hearty grain husks, rich through the middle, and a crisp close. Mouthfeel is soft over the tongue, and drinkability is high, very easy. Fits the bill for the style, for sure.

A - Seved in a pint glass from tap at the Peoples Pint. Medium amber, tight head, with almost no lacing.

S - Warm bread rising, malts and some slight spice. Really pleasant.

T - That malty feeling, with a snap in the middle and a lingering finish. Beautiful balance.

M - Sails by the tounge, along the way a wonderful sweet, sharp contrast. This is complex and true to form. Highly quaffable.

O - One of the better Octoberfest from a brew pub I have had. A great true to style beer.
