I had this on tap at Moxie in the Town Center Mall. Glad to see they offer about 8 local beers on tap.

It was served in a large tulip glass. The beer is a hazy yellow with an off-white skim off foam. Big clove and spice nose.

Lots of clove and banana esters. It is spicy with a bit of grains. I would personally like to see the spice dialed down a notch as the beer is in danger of being a one trick pony.

Mouth is excellent with a bit of heft and it is crisp.

Not my favorite offering from a great local brewery, but it is worth seeking out to have a few.

Tried this on tap at Jones B-side

Nice cloudy golden color, little aroma & mild taste - unremarkable

With so many other good alternatives available, this Hefeweizen comes up short.

Single finger head with nice lacing on a hazy straw with mustard hues body.

S: lemon, wheat and clove

T: very nice mildly sweet lemon note. Not too spicey. Just right wheat mustiness.

M: medium body an medium to high carbonation.

Overall: very drinkable and crisp. Flavorful for a wheat and not very watered down. Fuller bodied than others in the genre

A - Pours with a two finger head of white foam on a hazy, golden body. The head settles slowly and leaves decent lace.

S - Lots of clove and a little bit of banana

T - Smooth malt and banana up front with some clove in the middle. Spicy yeast lasts through the finish and it is balanced by sweet malt and a hint of vanilla.

M - Medium-thick body, moderate carbonation and a slightly sweet finish.

D - Very nicely done. The malt character is strong with lots of yeast complexity. It is unusual to find a German style wheat brewed in the US that is this well made.
