Funky, worn t shirt taste. Tastes very much like an English IPA that has been aged for a while. Not a lot of hops are shown in the taste. More of a sweet caramel, and strange earthyness.

Yet another local option from the Magic Mushroom at Jacksonville Beach. I have been to Engine 15 before but did not try this one.

It was served in a standard pint; the beer is a chill hazed dark gold with an off-white head. Nice lacing.

It has a big pine in the nose. There is some Caramel apple in there as well.

It is pleasantly bitter, with pine sap and citrus. A little bit of sweet malts for balance.

The mouth is oily yet the active carbonation keeps things from being to coating.

All-in-all, a very enjoyable IPA. I will try one at the source next time I go to Engine 15.

A: murky golden with a crimson hues body. Nice lacing. 1.5 finger head with little retention.

S: musty, light citrus and pine.

T: initially earthy and hoppy with a finish of pine, coriander and floral notes.

M: sharp, moderate to high carbonation and medium body.

Overall an average IPA. Neither complex or hoppy enough for my tastes.
