I tried Binkley's a week ago after I heard that they had a special keg on their draft lines. We arrived early for the dinner crowd but were told that we'd have to wait an hour due to reservations, so we decided to sit down in the bar area instead. They feature Bell's, Founders, Three Floyds, and other locals on draft. I saw that they had Bell's Quinnannan Falls Lager on draft so I had to order one. The beer arrived flat, with off aromas, and had a metallic taste and wasn't anything like it should have been. The waitress was very nice about it and took the beer back without hesitation and I order a Triton Railsplitter IPA, which was solid. She was even nice enough to discount the beer because of the issue with the previous pour. I had read a review online that said the fish tacos were way too salty so I wanted to try them. They infact were not even close to being way too salty. They had a nice mango salsa and the fish was cooked perfectly. My fiance got their Cajun pasta and it too was very good. Their menu features nice variety from burgers, to steaks, to pastas and they even have a few unique appetizers. We got out of there for about $35 before the tip which wasn't bad at all for a beer, an appetizer, and two meals. This is a nice restaurant if you're looking to catch a game or have a few nice beers on draft. I'd recommend it.

Great place in Indianapolis to grab a beer and very good food. This was my first to Indiana and I went here on my first night. The bartender was very knowledgeable. Had several Founders on tap as well as Sun King. About 15 or so beers on tap, plus many others in bottles. Bartender even said they had some pretty amazing kegs lined up to go on tap. We started talking about Three Floyds and about how I was planning on going there on my trip but had never had any of their beers. And the bartender bought me an Alpha King. Very cool, would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere is a bit upscale, but no one is snooty. Cool staff, bartenders are very knowledgeable. U shaped bar fits about 15 seated, tvs are visible. Bar is adjacent to covered patio seating, doors are open in the summer.
Prices are on par with other bars, but the selection here is far superior. Events held here are relatively often and done very well.
Service is excellent.
Selection is fantastic. Binkley's is one of the best beer bars in Indianapolis.
Food is good, portions are generous. Dishes mix traditional and new approaches, but always with great attention to flavor and presentation.
This place is well priced for the selection, which is always phenominal.

One of my favorite bars to hit up in Indianapolis. They have been the host of some beer events including the one I am attending later with Sierra Nevada. It's just south of the Broad Ripple strip and has a great tap selection. In some recent trips I have had Founders Newaygo County Cherry, New Belgium Le Terrior, Sierra Nevada Southern Hempisphere, and Left Hand Wake Up Dead on nitro. Every dish I've had is great, especially the pizza. If you're in the northern Indianapolis area and looking for a place to eat, this is the one.
