Just a few minutes from downtown Burlington, place is kinda dark inside, multiple rooms, dark wood, wood beams on the ceiling, some views of a woody area and a pond. Nice copper top bar. A bit on the dressy side compared to what we've seen at other places in town. Also somewhat more stuffy.
12 on tap, offerings from Switchback, The Shed, Hill Farmsted, Harpoon, and Allagash. Only 5 bottles highlighted by Dieu Du Ciel'S Derniere Volonte. Our bartender, while on the slow side, was knowledgeable about the beers as well as matching them with our food selections.
Food was very good. It seems everybody in town is using all local and fresh products, and these guys are on board. Very tasty apps and entrees on a fairly limited menu. Prices seemed quite reasonable for the quality offered, but perhaps on the high side for the area.
Worth a visit, but not with the guys for a few pints, better to take a date.
Just a note, when we got there they said it was "an hour wait", but we saw a mess of tables open, took seats at the bar and 15 mins later, we were told a table was available. By the time we left the place was empty...so don't get discouraged if they (for some reason) give you a long projected wait time.
Upscale place with a ton of wine, but they do show respect for quality beer here.

The draft and bottle selection were quite good. Most are served in the proper glassware by servers that just barely know what kind of beer is in the glass, don't look for much help with beer description other than what is written on the menu or bottle.
While the food was very good I thought the portions were very small for the price, hence the very expensive rating. Charge a couple bucks more and give me some food, I am not on a diet.
The area around the bar was what I would expect in an upscale beer bar, no pub here. This is a nice place with adequate beer. Remember to bring your wallet.

(This review refers to their former Riverside Ave location.)
Two nice dark bars, one with 10 draft lines and the other with bottles. Both have an AMAZING liquor collection of rarities and old-school distillations.
Pours are proper and often larger than other beer bars in the area. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable - and best yet, if they don't know the answer, they'll find out for you!
A great place to stop for a pint and some incredible eats too! Their whole focus is on locally produced/foraged foods and beverages, and they expand into the region too to supply things like Island Creek Oysters. The kitchen is great and the beer line-up always compliments the menu. My rating on the price reflects the high quality of ingredients and in no way do I find this place "over-priced."
If you're a cocktail aficionado, this is a great stop too. House twists on classic drinks. Plus it's the only place in the area with Sazerac rye whiskey!
