It should be the "Hyannis Rotary Brewery Company" , because thats where it is located. If you are tired of the Mill Hill Club, or that crazy place with the trains, this is a good deviation. The food is good, and the brew is great. I always get the sampler, since they are constantly changing their offerings. So next time, instead of waiting in traffic on the Bourne or Sagamore on the way home, throw back a few here. The traffic will be gone before you know it.

Visited earlier today for lunch. Had to peek in before parking to see if they were open, such was the dearth of cars in the parking lot on a Sunday at 11:30AM, but all systems were go, so in we went.
Heard a lot about this place changing hands or something recently, and I have to say comparing the facility to when I have visited previously, not much has changed. Unfortunately, it also seems that normal upkeep of facility is lacking, such as torn faux leather seats in numerous booths, with foam poking out in areas, patched with electrical tape in others. But let's move on to the drinking and dining experience.
Had a couple of brews while lunching, the IPA and Amber, in that order. Selection rating was a bit low, because once again (third time in the past few years) the one dark brew they carry was out. What was more frustrating was the fact that I asked what was on tap, was referred to the tap list on my table, and saw a brew chalkboard, both of which listed the Stout as being available. What sort of effort does it take to know and indicate which brews (of the *6*) are kicked? Anyways, both brews that I had were good. Food (fried fish sandwich, clam chowder, clam roll) was excellent, as it always has been in the past.
Would recommend this place as a the only local "brewpub" on the mainland Cape, and a place to get those beers with some good food.

I went for the sunday brunch, and the food was really good - good variety of items and quite well made. I went back on monday for lunch and had a chicken burrito that was ok. The best part - as I had to wait for my girlfriend I sat at the bar reading my sunday paper for over 3 hours. The bartender never bothered me - just topping off my water whenever needed and filling my pint when asked. She got a 50% tip for being the perfect blend of there but also leaving me alone.
The IPA and Hefeweizen were really good, the amber and stout ok, there is also a cranberry that I think is just their light but flavored.

Located a short walk from the Inn my wife and I stayed at, it was a no-brainer to visit the brewpub while we were on vacation. We sat in the main part of the dining room, at the windows with a good view of Main st, and the brewing tanks. Service was great, and very attentive. I sampled all of the brews they had that day, and found the IPA to be the most enjoyable of the mostly average brews. Food was quite good, I had the fried clam plate, wife had a steak. No one there seemed to interested in talking about their beers, and the bewer was not there when I visited.

I went here on a trip to the cape with my girlfriend. After driving around Hyannis for a half hour, we finally found the place. It's got a big Hyport Brewing Co. sign in the front, and occupies a large new england styled building. Walking inside, you have your choice of the bar to the right, or dining tables to the left. We opted for a nice dinner and sat in the dining area. It's very spacious, with a little lamp and a big window looking out, plenty of table space for a beer and food, plus room to spread out. Nice. i tend to prefer cozy places, but this is pretty good. The place isn't terribly crowded, so that helped.
The waiter came for our drink order almost immediately. I was still finding the beer on the menu. We wound up ordering a sampler of their house beers each, which featured a 4oz sample of each of their six beers. They didn't have the most adventurous beer selection, but their hefeweisen was damn fine. I'm sure they cater to a lot of non beer folks and tourists, myself included.
As far as the food, it was alright. I ordered a fishermans platter, and the clams were definitely not cooked well. The fish was terrific, but I was not happy with the raw clam. My girlfriend's food was fine, but my clams were not properly cooked.
They had a band playing that night. It was a cover band that did mostly classic rock, with a couple newer modern rock songs. They were really awesome, and definitely made the dinner a lot of fun. The guitar player was phenomenal, and we had a great time. I wish i could remember their name. They didn't know any AC/DC, but that was ok.
If you're on the cape, you should definitely hit this place. It's an oasis in a mostly beer barren land.
