On draft in PIttsburgh, Woo hoo!
Fresh, golden with white head, smells awesome and tastes awesome. Super easy to drink for a DIPA. The hops are not bitter, but rather on the fruity side, but the malt comes through too, so it is well balanced. Not a hazy beer, which is nice once in a while too.

Thanks to eyebereej for sending this one! Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Russian River snifter glass.
A: Very hazy, deep brownish gold. Forms a thin white head that fades quickly atop an average level of visible carbonation.
S: Bready malts with some caramel character. Citrus-forward hop profile, with lesser notes of pine, alpha bitterness, and grass.
T: Bready and sweet caramel malts, grapefruit and orange hops, and some bitter sticky resin. Hop bitterness and sweet malts in the hang, with the bitter flavors ultimately persevering for longer.
M: Medium to a bit heavy body. Average carbonations sensation, and fairly low alcohol presence.
O: Decent, but in large part exactly what I don't prefer in my DIPAs...malty and caramelly with a somewhat boring hop profile.

This came on the heels of Stone's HiFi Plus LoFi Mixtape, and was really good stuff with a devastating hop assault. Tropical and citrus fruits splash across the palate and pervade the nostrils. Clean and smooth character suggested a big, fresh beer. Very drinkable.

I just found a bottle of this at my local Mission Liquors -- not there before so I am surprised to read this was a collaboration from 2014. Indeed, the bottle date says 1/05/2015. A year-old DIPA? Suddenly appearing? Okay.
Pours nice with a 1 finger frothy head. Aroma is very hoppy, ripe citrus. A little dank grass.
Taste is along those lines and it's pretty delicious. Dank. Super juicy although not so tart I want to say grapefruit. Also malts coming in nicely. Some biscuit keeps things smooth. Almost oatmeal.
Finishes dry, a little bit resiny. It's hoppy but not too, citrusy but not too sweet, got some bitter but doesn't kill (the aftertaste lingers nicely). Grass and bread in the aftertaste. Feels boozy but it's not in the taste. Make sense? Honey is here too. This is a very fine DIPA and I can't believe this is a year old bottle. It must have been well-tended to in that time, never sat on the deck in the sun on the driveway.
This version is retired but has been replaced by Lupulin River? Knee Deep does it again.

Simply one of the best fruity DIPAs . Right there with Duet and Pliny ( no shit)
.
Fruit tropical essences, sweet malts. Simply outstanding. Balanced. Bitterness is absent.
If Pliny didn't exist: this would be the the pinnacle. Delicious
