A- Pours a golden orange. Good head but not the best retention.

S- Super floral aroma with a citrus background. Very small nose of malt.

T- Well balanced for 102 IBU. But it is all hops! Very floral hop flavor to it with a little grapefruit towards the end. But the floral hops return and linger (a good thing).

M- Slight creaminess which is off for me should be a little more full bodied for an imperial IPA. However the hop oils do linger for about 10 seconds. Okay carbonation bite.

O- I think its a good example of the style and a little differnt from most other DIPA's but I dont get the hype. But to each his own. Overall a tasty brew.

A - Poured brown with a touch of amber, the head was foamy and quickly disappeared.
S - Citrus, mostly tropical fruit.
T - The hops are blended with the malt nicely, having grapefruit, pine, tropical like the nose and carmel and bitter throughout.
M - Medium body and carbonation that leads to a malty smooth finish.
O - Not a hop bomb DIPA, very drinkable and balanced.

Picked this up today as a consolation prize for finding a parabola (I won't be drinking the parabola anytime soon and I don't know if i'll get another). Kind of a weird consolation prize, but oh well.

A A deep orange with a hint of gold around the edges--a bit darker than I had anticipated. About an inch of head with some beautiful lacing.
S Balmy pine a hops; a bit malty with a resiny undertone. Sugary sweetness lingering somewhere in there. A tad bit musky.
T A bit more piney than I thought it might be, rounded out a bit by the malt. Pretty fairly balanced-a little boozy and a bit floral on the backend.
M - Light and fluffy, the carbonation is very good for the style. Very drinkable in this regard.
O - this is another good Knee Deep offering; however, I think Hop Shortage and Simtra are better (for my palate at least). This one is certainly complex, though I think I would prefer to have some sort of citrus in there to cut through the pine-based hops.
