On tap at brewpub poured into taster. Color is golden with white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and fresh citrus hops. Taste is mango, apricot, citrus, and caramel sweetness balanced by piney and citrus peel hop bitterness. Medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel, low-moderate carbonation, long slightly bitter finish. Best Mad Fox beer I’ve had.

Mad Fox Brewing Company - Two Hemispheres Wet-Hop IPA, poured into a Fiddlehead snifter.
Look - Pours cloudy caramel with some chunky head with good spots of lacing.
Smell - Dank juicy citrus (galaxy?), not much malt.
Taste - Hops are citrus and the center of the taste and it ends with a touch of malt.
Mouthfeel - Not boozy, slightly sticky. Heavy-light bodied with moderate carb. Great drinkability.
Overall - This is great stuff, definitely need to get my hands on some Orange Whip!

Golden color with a frothy, long lasting 3 finger bone white head. Relatively translucent in color with lots of tiny bubbles in this 3 day old growler fill.Lacing is above average.
Tropical fruit nose, fresh aroma, slight malt presence.
Taste is a reflection of the aroma, nice and juicy. Last few sips had an almost light plum aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is decent, a bit oily, smooth, soft carbonation.
Best wet hop ale I have tried so far, another solid effort from Mad Fox.

A: hazy dirty-golden in color, with thin head, collecting at edges, very minor lacing
S: have to opt out a little, could not get a clean smell at pub. I got citrus/orange and something I was pretty sure not related to the beer. There might be a mustiness to it, hard to tell
T: hoppy from the get go, some carbonation, but a grassy grapefruit taste hits with the first taste. The carbonation leads to some hints of soda, but the lemon and grapefruit taste overtake that. The end is mellow citrus-fruity and mildly earthy
M: there is a good but not overpowering pull on the tongue, drying it out as the taste ages. The dryness also grabs the back of the throat a little.
O: almost a perfect example of a solid version of a dry, bitter IPA. There isn't much "special" or unique about it, but it won't disappoint and should impress some in its simplicity.
