750ml bottle into Hill Farmstead stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a 1.5 finger frothy white head with great retention. Beer is a clear black tea color. Lacing is thick, web-like and layered with excellent stick. A really good looking beer.

Nose is slightly tart and spritzy. Notes of Brett, sour lemon and apple. Some mild yeastiness and peppery and spicy. Very nice.

Opens yeasty, sour apple, lemon tartness. Clove, peppercorn, and floral in the middle. Ends foamy with some wood and mossy notes. Finishes tart and crisp with a lemon zest and peel aftertaste. Delicious!

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and light in the mouth and goes down dry but fluffy. Accented finish with a dry, sticky aftertaste. Super drinkable.

Hard for me to believe the low ratings on this beer. Just because it doesn't have the Hill Farmstead name doesn't mean it doesn't carry the Hill Farmstead pedigree. An excellent saison all the way around.

Thanks for sharing, Sam.

A moderately hazy amber with a dense, off-white head with decent retention and lacing, this looks great! The nose is fantastic. More like a biere de garde than a saison, this is herbal, earthy, floral, bready and has a touch of lemon, fruit aromatics and moderate yeast. The palate opens mildly sour with a blend of lemon, lactic funk, citrus, tea leaf bitterness and the bready notes. Medium light in body, this beer finishes a little tart and yeasty. Excellent.

A- Holy gusher Batman! Looked away after opening only to look back to a puddle and foam pouring out of the bottle. When poured it was very cloudy from the yeast being mixed in after the gushing. Little head on a hazy/muddy gold beer. Recedes to a collar leaving minimal lacing.

S- Smells moderately tart and funky. A good bit of apricot, pineapple, hay, grass, and yeasty aroma. Smells great, and really complex!

T- The flavor is very mildly tart, with less of pretty much everything from the nose. It's still good, but a bit disappointing after an amazing nose. It is pleasant, but lacking bold flavor and/or complexity.

M- The mouth feel is medium with good carbonation. A bit watery though.

O- Overall this is a solid, but unspectacular saison.

A - Pours a murky muddied golden orange/amber with 1 full finger+ of near white dense head, fantastic retention and lacing.

S - Light, dry, and tart. Oranges, apricot, grassy hops, and belgian funk. Relatively new aromas but thats the best I can describe, smells very appetizing.

T - Quite sour and tart, peach, pear, orange, ripened apples, slightly clovey, banana, cloves, belgian qualities. Bubblegummy.

M - Lighter bodied with solid carbonation, extremely drinkable.

O - A funky sour/tart saison. Lots of light fruity flavors (apricot and peach mostly). Really awesome, love this stuff!
