Great head and very nice lacing. Beautiful Amber color. Malty and hoppy but not overwhelming. A decent beer. Bought a sixer for 5.99. Normally 8.99. Wouldn't spend 8.99 on it but for what i spent, definitely a good deal.

A 355ml bottle with a BB of March 2015. Purchased a while back from a supermarket.
A: Poured into a cervoise. A deep, hazy orange-amber hue with plenty of floating sediment and light carbonation. Yields a decent head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before collapsing. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of caramel malt with hints of stewed leaves, mild grain, earthy yeast and faint cardboard. Slightly sweet. Fails to stimulate the senses.
T: Tastes of caramel malt with a lightly hoppy character and a subtle bitter finish. Notes of sweet malt, stewed leaves, mild pine, a touch of grain, earthy yeast and cardboard. A subdued, mildly spicy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and decent body. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of harsh stewed leaves/cardboard, caramel malt and faint hop notes.
O: Meh - not brilliant. Perhaps it would have been better if the bottle were fresher. Looks OK, however the aroma and flavour are dull and uninspired with relatively little hop character to justify the name. Average body. Not a particularly memorable brew - no need to seek it out.

12 oz bottle.
Deep amber with a very good head and exceptional lacing.
Herbal/floral aroma with a clear malt base.
High malt/hop ratio for style; drinks like a malty pale ale. Herbal and citrus notes.
O: Decent, just don’t expect a hoppy IPA.
