Reviewed from notes.

Belgo Sue shines copper-orange out of the glass and carries a solid two finger's of thick foam, decent lacing at each drink too.

The aromas are classic Pseudo with a big dose of pepper and clove. The grapefruit and floral hops are there, just buried.

The flavors of this beer are similar to the nose. Classic Pseudo is there, it just peeks out from under the blanket of pepper, clove, and earthy tones. The citrus and floral hops are most noticeable on the back end of the drink.

Belgo has some decent heft, and is a little more on the slick side rather than creamy. It certainly helps make this offering more quaffable.

Yep, this is Pseudo Sue with Belgian yeast. The flavors are interesting; I am just not sure they are flavors that I like to mesh together. I would take a regular Sue over this every time. It is still a great beer, and neat to try.

Pour is clear golden amber with a tight creamy white head. Handsome beer. Nose has a tangy yeast aroma and a fair bit of peppery with a grassy herbal hop and a touch of candied sugar. Taste is more grain forward, less Belgian yeast. Clean fresh grain bill with a moderate citrus hop. Some tangy yeast mid palate and a faint spice. Carb is soft with a soft pillowy feel. Finish is lightly bitter and has a bit of an herbal hop note. A hint sweet through the back but almost being picky. Good stuff.
