Long live the King. King Sue that is. Her ferocious bite will make sure all newcomers learn to toe the line. And what better way to exude her influence than with this Citra Hopped Double IPA. Followers will cheer. Enemies will crumble. But don’t take her lightly, because when this double IPA is on a rampage, nothing will stand in her way…

(Second serving and clear nose had all of the flavors pop)
Glass Used: Tulip

Appearance: A cloudy orange-gold body, enough so that you cannot see through it .With a light source to the side or behind the glass, the color glows a brilliant honey color. The head was a fluffy white which dissipated leaving ample lace behind. A beautiful DIPA.

Smell: A brilliant bright citrus punch to the nose - grapefruit, orange-tangerine mix, some honeydew melon, a bit floral, lots of pine-resin hoppy aroma.

Taste: Tropical and citrus flavors blast through with a burst of hops following right behind it. The hops do fade quickly with minimal bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Thick feel with a dry finish. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Thanks to Pintofbrown for sending me a growler of this fantastic DIPA. I really enjoyed PseudoSue so I wanted to try this one. Not disappointed. Pretty tasty DIPA from TG.

Murky and oddly oxidized, though I was told the bottle was fresh. No bottle date unfortunately.
