Tap into a pint glass.
A-Slightly cloudy, copper/amber color, very little head with small bubbles that linger, no lacing. A bit on the "standard" side, but perhaps it had to do with the keg/tap I got in on versus the beer itself. I would hope for a bit more of a head on this style.
S-Wow. Got an excellent whiff of the hop profile even when the beer was being poured 5 feet away from me, made me very thirsty. Pineapple, fresh green grass, bright citrus notes, very tropical.
T-Those topical notes in the nose really shine here, it has a grassy/citrus fruit/lemon taste with a distinct green pepper hoppy pop at the end. Lots of flavor without being a palate wrecker, which the relatively low ABV compliments. Bit of resiny orange candy-like leftovers linger, which is nice.
M-Medium body, slight carbonation tingle/burning, finishes slightly dry.
O-A bit off on the appearance, but overall exemplary for the style.

22 oz. bottle:
Pours clouded golden with a thin head. Strands of lacing stick
The smell is of a robust hop explosion. The powerful aroma came through upon opening the bottle. It has a wonderful citric aroma - grapefruit, orange and mango.
The taste is of bitter citric and tropical fruits. A subtle malt backing has a cracker-like character. It balances the hops while showcasing the citra hops. A touch of pepper mixes in in the long finish.
The body is appropriate for a pale ale that is on the fuller side of the spectrum. Overall, it is smooth despite a bite to it.
A great show of citra hops. A hoppy pale ale, for sure. Not harsh though there is a bit of a bite. A very enjoyable APA.
