Reviewed from a beer clean Growler filed at the Nova in Hudson WI, poured into a beer clean imperial pint glass.
A- Pours a thick white head with ample lacing. The body is a slightly hazed yellow.
S- Tropical fruits come through big time here which is no surprise given the citra hops. Peach, Passion fruit, citrus juice (lemon, lime, grapefruit). Not a lot of malt to speak of.
T- Starts out with a solid hop bitterness, some peach and mango notes with some bready malt tucked in quickly before sliding into a long dry bitter finish.
M- Good body and some spritzy carbonation. The long astringent finish is nice.
O- A very nice pale ale. This really highlights the citra hop profile. I'll definitely enjoy this again.
Serving type: growler
