Notes/Commercial Description:
This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

On tap, poured into a 16 oz. shaker pint.

A – Light amber with a minimal, frothy white head. Slight haze.

S – Nothing but grapefruit & citrus from the Citra hops to start with some pine notes developing as the beer warms.

T – Still all citrus flavor up front, but not overwhelming. Nice balance and a sweet, refreshing finish that encourages you to drink more. Don’t want to put this one down.

M – Bright, clean mouth feel with a medium/light body. Perfect carbonation from first to last sip.

O – Delicious APA...delicious beer. If you come across this one, don’t miss it!

a brilliant pale ale, showing the delicacy and also the versatility of the citra hop. mostly clear bright sunny color here, inch of white head with great lacing. the nose is citra hops all the way, citrusy and a little acidic, with pineapple and passion fruit esters happening all over the place. what this beer shows me in one sip, is that the citra hop can be used successfully for bittering as well as all its normal floral and tropical aromatic and flavoring attributes. there is some solid bitterness here in pseudosue, which works awesome with the late kettle flavors of this hop. its really good, easy drinking beer with a lot of flavor, but honestly came in a little less impressive than the zeelander from toppling goliath, which is the single hop nelson sauvin ipa. this has more bitterness and heft to it, but still sings with unique hop flavor, i just adore it. fuller bodied than zeelander, but rather easy drinking still, carbonated softly but its plenty here. this is an art form, and toppling goliath now has to be in the conversation about best users of hops in the country. this is superior beer.

Clean golden color allowed a brilliant bright white foam to sit atop. Nose and tongue perceive the same elements of perfumes, flowers, musky cannabis leaf, earthy floral tones and whole hop cone. This is very dry, very crisp and super easy to drink. My palate seems to have found this differently than so many others but I see why there is a buzz as it's big, bold and daring.
