Notes/Commercial Description:
This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

Poured from the bottle (no date) into a teku glass....

A - Dark orange color with a magnificent two finger head that holds real well. Nice sticky lace all over the glass

S - Citrus notes all over the place. An explosion as soon as I lifted the cap. A fruity implosion covered my kitchen, perfect

T - Wow, citra hops rule. Just like the label says, citrus and mango flavors are dominant. Orange, grapefruit, pez candy, lime juice. Amazing

M - Nice medium body with a great smooth feel off the palate. Low carbonation and just enough bite

O - This, to me, is the end all be all of the APA category. Just hits a 5 in every category. Absolutely awesome and so happy I had the chance to get a bottle. Do yourself a favor and seek this one out!

The aroma on this beer is outstanding, and the first thing I noticed. Very strong and smells of tropical fruits and citrus. The taste follows the nose. I didn't pick up much bitterness if any at all. Very smooth and delicious my favorite pale ale I've every had. I could drink this all day every day.

Thanks to Zeledonia for this awesome liter growler!

A: Pours a hazy orangish-brown with three fingers of cream-colored head that fades into a thin cap with good lacing.

S: Big citrus kick up front with grapefruit and oranges followed by lots of melon aromas reminiscent of mangoes and cantaloupe. Smells like an amazing fruit salad.

T: Similar to the aroma, lots of citrus and melon flavors here. Oranges, grapefruit, mangoes, and cantaloupe all come to mind again with some dank weed and herbal pine flavors underneath. Absolutely delicious.

M: Medium-light body with moderate carbonation, this beer is almost creamy feeling in the mouth, making it very drinkable.

O: One of the best APA's I've ever had. I love the mix of citrus and melon aromas and flavors. Lots of complex hop notes without being overly bitter or a palate-wrecker.

Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. Pseudo Sue

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a CBS snifter. Kudos to my snifter, cause that mofo holds the whole bomber. Served chilled...

A) This is a golden amber. A nice finger of white head reaches the top of the snifter. Settles to a dusting. Tons if tight little bubbles cling to the glass when you give it a swirl. Nice lacing with this one.

S) You get some light pine, and some sweet naval oranges. Tropical fruit cocktail. Oh, this is nice... Very nice...

T) Yes... Yes indeed, this follows the nose. Enjoying some nice pine, tropical fruit, mandarin orange. Closing with some citrus rind, that begs you to take another sip. The drinkability here is top notch.

M) Solid medium body with mild carbonation. This shit is some kind of smooth... Nice clean finish... I could drink quite a bit of this...

O) Very impressed with this beer. Would love to have it available on a regular basis. It is that good...
