This single hop ale showcases the Citra hop. Named for the largest T-rex fossil ever discovered, she roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. Delicate in body with a mild bite in the finish.

A: beautiful orange/ amber appearance with a solid head that lasts for quite awhile before regressing to a fine lace.
S: amazing citrus notes of grapefruit and orange.
M: mild to medium body with a much more hoppy taste than an average pale ale.
T: significant citrus hops in the initial flavor profile and finishes very smooth.this is a very happy pale ale, but for hop fans is a must try.
O: this is easily my favorite go to beer. It's about $8 a 22oz and difficult to come by only with the brewery only 70 miles away. This is a far superior Sierra Nevada pale ale or a great "all day" citra from pipeworks. GREAT beer!

Just FYI... My first 5/5 beer

A: Off white head a finger tall in the teku that slowly receded and left behind beautiful cathedral like lacing. The beer is light orange to pale gold with moderate clarity.

S: Huge, bright juicy mangos, papaya, guava and other tropical fruits. Moderate grassy, pine aromas with honey like malt aroma. Clean base malt aroma and fermentation character. very pleasant overall.

T: Moderate bitterness with a beutiful bouquet of tropical fruit flavors on par with the aroma. Mango and papaya with pineapple and goji berries. The malt character is surprisingly balanced with a bready character and a slight bread crust as it warms up. I am picking up a vegetable character in the finish that takes away from the drinkability, but it finishes very clean.

M: Clean and moderate body with moderate carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Some resinous/ sticky mouthfeel after a few sips pass the tongue.

O: A fantastic Pale Ale balanced like one in the bitterness department but with way more aroma and flavor from the hops. The vegetal character I was getting is the only thing I didn’t care for in the beer. I would have liked to have known the bottling date on this thing too! It was from a cooler and I drank it the same day I got it.. not sure I could have drank it fresher. Hopefully that vegetal flavor isn’t the norm.

22 FL OZ bottle
Served in a snifter

L - It falls in the lighter end of the amber spectrum. It has golden highlights. A rather aggressive pours yielded about two inches of off-white head.

S - I get lights citrus notes along with some tropical fruit and pine.

T - The taste has a building bitterness that is lent from citrus. I also tasted some mango and pine.

F - Medium with biting carbonation

O - It is a great pale ale. It drinks more like an IPA. A big thank you to Fargrow for the opportunity to try this one.
