Draft serving in a footed tulip glass, review from written notes.
Opaque orange color, delicate lacing, good surface coverage.
Slightly tropical aroma, fairly pungent. Dried papaya.
Earthy flavor, oddly floral and slightly astringent, it's a bit overwhelming on the whole. It overpowers in an odd way, light pale malt aftertaste, but the astringent floral fruitiness seems to dominate. Appreciate the tropical character of the Nelson Sauvin, but the mix is just too jarring. Starts out nice, but not so easy to finish a glass of this.
Serving type: on-tap
