Poured from Growler into Tulip.
A. Pours 2+ finger head. Thick lacing. Good retention. Colr is a hazy golden orange. Like a lot of TG IPA's almost looks like fruit juice.
S. No suprise it smells hoppy. Some nice bitterness, along with some fruity hop aroma, orange, apricot, a little bit of grapefruit, but overall pretty tropical and more sweet than bitter. The one thing that is almost constant with all TG IPA's is their amazing hop aroma.
T. Get some bitterness on the side of the tongue. Drinks fairly dry. Nice balance of bitter and sweet. Has a dry biscuity malt flavor. Bitterness really lingers on the tongue. This is a pretty bitter IPA.
M. Medium bodied. Medium/high carbonation. Lingering mouth coating bitterness.
O. Very good beer. Probably what stands out at me most is the mouth coating bitterness TG was able to get into this beer. Not my favorite TG IPA, but when Golden Nugget is one of your favorite IPAs of all breweries, you have to put things into context. Intergalatic Warrior gives some nice differentiation to the TG IPA lineup and showcases the endless possibilities of what can be done with hops.
