Picked-up a single bomber bottle at Long Ridge Wine and Spirits for about ten dollars. No bottled-on date, which I suspect was rubbed off. My eighth beer from these guys. I put this somewhere in the middle. Good beer, would buy if it was offered in four-packs, but not a bomber at that price point.

Bomber poured into a weizen glass (even though the brewer calls this a Wheat IPA, the weizen glass fits the wheat part, presents the beer excellently, and besides, is large enough to contain the entire bomber in one pour, with just a bit left in the bottle to add once the head recedes a bit). Strong citrus... good hoppy aroma. Tall, thick, creamy white head recedes very slowly, to a peaks and valley cratered head with gobs of lacing. Very cloudy, but not quite turbid, orange juice color with plenty of bubbles visible with a backlight, but it is very hazy; not possible to see through completely without a backlight. (Some yeast clumps in the last of the beer poured, sinking to the bottom of the glass quickly.) Taste is as the aroma in the beginning - strong citrus tending toward juicy adding a bit of pine. Good citrus bite. The middle and finish are dominated by the hops flavor, with only a little bitterness coming through in the finish and aftertaste. There is plenty of malt balance and the feel is moderate. Well balanced. The appearance is very attractive for me. Turbidity is not in and of itself a positive, IMO, but the color of bright orange (not muddy orange as so many of the turbid beers are) with the tall, white, thick, cratering head is very attractive.

Thresher pours a bright and very hazy golden color, with a small, but long lasting and lacing head. Big fresh hoppy aroma. Flavor is a creamy fresh floral flavor up front, with a smooth wheat base. Good body and feel. Overall, very good beer, its an IPA first then a wheat beer mixed in, this is the way it should be.
