This place has a great selection in the cooler, a great selection on the taps, they have cool beer events, and the staff is fun. They even brew, and their anniversary ale was delicious. Visit here. They’re a relatively new player in Seattle, and I tend to like a place like this more than Bottleworks. Their vibe is are a little more young and almost hipster, whereas Bottleworks has the typical beards-and-beer-bellies vibe. When we visited, they were setting up for a tasting that night. They served the same IPA on regular draft, nitro, cask, and randall.

I went here during a recent vacation to the Pacific Northwest.

V: This isn't the most relevant thing to assessing a store's vibe, but they had a parking lot! In Seattle! The parking lot was huge for a visitor, with a car in Seattle. Inside there was a well organized bottle shop with a small bar and a great neighborhood feel.

Ser: I received great service from both the bottle shop staff and the bar staff.

Sel: Seattle is blessed to have several great bottle shops and even though I went to this shop after several others this shop still had some unique offerings.

Overall, one of my favorite bottle shops of our recent trip. If it weren't for our amazing experience at Chuck's Hop Shop, I would be touting this as the best bottle shop in Seattle. i would still highly recommend a visit for anyone in the area.

Very clean and well thought-out organizationally, with as good a beer selection as any place in Seattle, and reasonable pricing on top of that, this may be the best bottle shop in town. If I lived closer to West Seattle, it'd be a regular go-to, without question.

Up until yesterday I always told anyone who asked that Bottleworks was the best beer shop in Seattle. And though I still love Bottleworks my feelings changed when I walked into the Beer Junction for th first time yesterday. I walked in around 9:30pm and th place was jumping. Lots of people at the bar drinking the numerous offerings that were on top and having a good time. But what really got me was the selection of bottles for sale as there are for more then any other beer ship I have ever been to. They also had beers I have never seen at any other shop in Seattle such as Big Bad Baptist, Peche Mortel, Avery Tweak and Hopportunity.

Also, the service was really good. Everyone there seemed really friendly and it was not long before someone approached me and asked if he could help me with anything. I told him I was looking for a good Barrell Aged Stout and he immediately showed me a bunch of choices. Really, awesome, friendly service which can be lacking in the Seattle area.

Simply said, I was blown away. I don't make it to West Seattle that often, but that will change now

Awesome selection. Not your standard bottle shop. Always has sought after Northwest beers on tap like Boneyard.

As a bottle shop, the Beer Junction is first rate. Nice organization to their shelves. Well lit, so you can see what you're looking at (unlike another well known bottle shop in town). Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Typical prices, neither higher nor lower than the norm.

As a beer bar, it's got its pluses and minuses. On the plus side: huge number of taps (I've seen as many as 46 taps running at once), with highly varied assortment of exceptional beers. Four ounce tasters as well as full size servings. Prices are decent ($5 pints of RPM, for example). If you want to drink one of the exceptional bottles from the shelves, they'll pour it for you for a $2 corkage fee, which is a heck of a deal. And their special events are very well thought out ... Pumpkin Junction is exceptional.

The minus: the bar area is quite small, given its popularity. It can be pretty hard to find a spot to put your glass, let alone a chair to sit in, so the place usually feels cramped, crowded, and noisier than some of the competitors.

But it is fun to wander the store, browsing the shelves with your glass of suds in hand. I usually walk out with unplanned buys.

No kids. There are a couple of TVs, but it's not the best place to watch a game.
