I checked out The Beer Junction as my main stop for bottles in Seattle, it did not disappoint. Fantastic selection of Washington, Oregon and California and good representation from Colorado as well from what I saw. They had many more beers all organized by style, you could easily spend a couple hours examining all the bottles.

Most of the 4 or 6 pack selections were available by the single can/bottle, however I did find them to be pricey even for the luxury of getting a single beer. Many larger bottles seemed pretty reasonable, and the selection of new beers was great. I was able to snag a Parabola among many other interesting finds, so I left happy.

The biggest plus here was the attentive and informative customer service, along with the fact that you can grab a beer or sampler for while you shop. I haven't experienced this before, and it was fantastic to get to try some beers from breweries I haven't had or couldn't afford to grab many (or any) bottles of.

Great selection of glassware and some apparel, and they do growler fills. Check out this store if you're in the Seattle area and don't be afraid to ask what they have kicking around not on the shelves!

As a bottle shop, the Beer Junction is first rate. Nice organization to their shelves. Well lit, so you can see what you're looking at (unlike another well known bottle shop in town). Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Typical prices, neither higher nor lower than the norm.

As a beer bar, it's got its pluses and minuses. On the plus side: huge number of taps (I've seen as many as 46 taps running at once), with highly varied assortment of exceptional beers. Four ounce tasters as well as full size servings. Prices are decent ($5 pints of RPM, for example). If you want to drink one of the exceptional bottles from the shelves, they'll pour it for you for a $2 corkage fee, which is a heck of a deal. And their special events are very well thought out ... Pumpkin Junction is exceptional.

The minus: the bar area is quite small, given its popularity. It can be pretty hard to find a spot to put your glass, let alone a chair to sit in, so the place usually feels cramped, crowded, and noisier than some of the competitors.

But it is fun to wander the store, browsing the shelves with your glass of suds in hand. I usually walk out with unplanned buys.

No kids. There are a couple of TVs, but it's not the best place to watch a game.

This was my only stop in Seattle so I can't compare it to other places in the city, but I picked because it is rated so high on BA. The room in front is small with a bar and a few tables but it is very comfortable. I like how the chalkboard is organized by lighter beers, stouts, odds beers, but it was a bit hard to read some of them and I would have liked a bit more of a description.

The long space past the bar is all coolers and a nice little wall of glassware and growlers of many sizes. You will get to visit many times if you stay for a while as the bathrooms is out the backdoor and down the hallway.

They have a great and diverse selection on tap but you can also grab a bottle from the cooler to drink aswell. I like to drink ice water during a beer session and their water was a little self-serve pitcher in the corner.

They don't have a kitchen but they will give you menus to local places. They now have a deal that you can order from the taco place next door, through the bartender, pay the bartender and the taco cook will walk the food over to you. It was really handy and very tasty.

This is a great place and even on a Monday night it was pretty full of people but it has a good energy in the space.

Beer Junction would be my go-to store if it was closer to where I live. Friendly, helpful, enthusiastic staff; a clean, well-lit space; regular beer events; reasonable pricing; well-organized, large inventory; weekly emails listing new arrivals. You can shoot them an email about a particular beer you're interested in, and usually get a response within the hour.

The Beer Junction is one of the newer establishments to be completely dedicated to craft beer. While they are new, they are staffed with very knowledable people who are always happy to help with both NW specialty beers as well as US distributed beers and imports. Their selection is impressive and rivals the rest of the bottle shops out here - they do not, however, have cellared offerings for sale like other places (or at least I've never seen them).

They have a great variety of beers and ciders on tap and the place is cozy with a few TV's playing whatever games are on (Premier League, La Liga, NFL, MLB, NHL, you name it). Beer Junction is amongst the few places in WA to have Boneyard beers continuously flowing through their taps, and that alone should be a cause worthy for a visit!

I recommend you join their mailing list as they do a pretty good job of sending updates from time to time of what new beer they've received or events they're hosting. If you do venture out to Beer Junction, be sure to ask the staff if they have any limited beers on hand as they typically have them behind the counter with strict pp. limits.

Be warned - there are no minors allowed in the store or "bar" area, no matter the age of the child.
