Picked this up at a great little beer store in Arlon, Belgium, Miorge Mihoublon. Bottled March 31st, 2014. Cloudy yellow-amber pour with a one finger off-white foamy head with nice retention and lacing. The nose is perfumey with fresh piney citrus hops along with hints of tangerine, caramel, and grapefruit. The taste is juicy and fresh with tons of floral, resiny hops along with hints of tangerine, pine, caramel, mango, lemon, and grapefruit. The mouthfeel is smooth and crisp with tingly carbonation, perfect balance, and a tangy, bittersweet finish. Overall, yet another awesome beer from The Kernel. Rich and flavorful and hugely bold for a Pale Ale.
