A - Pours a hazy dark amber with an inch of fine, thick off-white head. A couple of streamers are visible. The head retains as a thin cap very well atop the liquid.

S - Yep, citra hops....Passion fruit/guava/mango and other tropical fruits, lemon, gooseberry, green apple skin, nettles, biscuity(?) malt pushed right to the back. Mouthwatering stuff.

T - Sherberty lemon transitions into thick caramel/molasses, before the tropical fruit pushes through. The finish has a distinct herbal edge and lingers along with brown sugar and tobacco in a lengthy aftertaste. The hum of alcohol is constantly trying to push forward (and finally does in the finish), but is generally well masked.

M - Soft, persistent carbonation picks away at the medium-full body and helps cleanse the palate along with the hops.

D - The best of the Kernel brew I've had so far. Nice depth and interest.

330 mL bottle into a tulip glass, a graceful white head that leaves really nice film and lacing. The beer is a burnt orangey brown, very attractive. 4.25

S – apricot, grapefruit, caramel and nutty notes,

T – a very delicious full citrus and tropical hop character, some delicious nutty and aged citrus rind, very good balance with some subtle yeast notes. Malt comes through and adds a very nice balance with tons of complexity.

M – moderate body with a smooth carbonation and coating fruitiness. Alcohol is completely hidden in a refreshing drinkable citrus IPA

A very well done DIPA, cool tropical and citrus hops with solid roasty caramel malt, tons going on and very delicious.

Thx to woosterbill for this awesome IPA

33 cl bottel poured into my tullipglass .

A : Pours cloudy, rich gold with a large, frothy, off-white head , nice lacing
S : The citra hops explode out of this beer. The aroma is all orange, toast, grapefruit and pine.
T : Flavor is medium sweet with a gorgeous, restrained bitterness. Juicy, juicy, juicy. Orange juice mostly, with hints of alcohol, bread, and grass. Warm finish, semi-sticky, lots of orange, some toasted sugar, sweet grass, pine needles, pulpy orange, some pineapple and light citrus rind.
M : Full bodied with fine to average carbonation, and a velvety mouthfeel
O : Unbelievably smooth overall. Way, way to easy to drink this stuff. Super DIPA. World class, definitely.

Had a few of these at Kernel and at home. It is the best DIPA I have had.
Pours a dark amber orange with a rocky head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is intense, as I can smell it from a distance the moment it pours out the bottle. Smell and flavor is similar. Begins a bitter fresh hop POP with Lots of citrus, mango, pinapple, pine resin, Orange peel, zest, a bit of alcohol warmth at the end and bitter finish. The Palate is amazing, soft and airy, medium to full bodied, creamy, just perfect carbonation. Overall this is Just fantastic! I wish more people could try it adn be lucky enough to have it as fresh as I did (first day available after bottling) Will need to go back and get some more.
