Poured from a 500ml bottle into a dimpled pint glass.

Pours, as with other kernel pale ales, a great looking cloudy dark orange colour with a decent wild head.

Smells fresh and hoppy- citrus fruits and a hint of oily pine.

Tastes again, of hops. Strong US ones, citrus fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, pine, with some sweet fruit too. A crisp malt backbone holding it all together. A thin but not watery mouthfeel, refreshing and thirst-quenching.

Overall a truly lovely beer, refreshing, drinkable and really hoppy. Another hit from the kernel.

Picked this up at the Kernel Brewery while on vacation in London. Hazy amber-orange pour with a two finger fluffy white head with decent retention and great lacing. The nose is freaking crazy! Unbelievable fresh picked resiny hops totally dominate. Very herbal and pungent. The taste isn't quite as bold, but still packs a nice hop punch. Tons of citrus and resiny hops with hints of tangerine, grapefruit, lychee, and pine. The mouthfeel is slightly fizzy and slightly thinner than I had expected, but that only makes it that much more drinkable. Probably the most session-able hop bomb I've had and a standout interpretation of a Pale Ale. The Kernel never seems to disappoint. Just wish their beers were more readily accessible.
