I found this place walking up to Duval Street, and it is connected to Sloppy Joe's Bar. A nice little bar that keeps away from the kids and the standard bar atmosphere of Key West. They also have some tables out side. All of the 10 taps that they had were craft, Stone, Rogue, Harpoon, Dogfish Head, Avery, Magic Hat, Key West Brewing. The bartender was quite nice, fast, and helpful. Food was standard bar like grub, with a focus on Sloppy Joe mix on tons of stuff. A bit pricey, but worth it to be close to the action, but be able to enjoy a good pint and not have to deal with the insanity.

Joe's is a nice little tap room connected to Sloppy Joes. I was able to order a beer here and walk through the breezeway type thing into Sloppy Joes as needed. I chose to stay in the tap room and ordered a Southern Tier 2X IPA. it tasted fresh and was quite refreshing. I also ordered the World Famous Sloppy Joe. Apparently, there is an argument to be made whether this place or another place across the street were the originators of the ubiquitous Sloppy Joe sandwich; my bet is on the place with the sandwich namesake. The sloppy joe was pretty good but I wouldn't call it world class. The server seemed fairly enthusiastic and the atmosphere was nice. Live music was playing next door and they have some good seats with window views to watch all of the minglers and revelers. Not a bad little stop.

Back of Sloppy Joes, this is the place to go if all your friends are drinking fizzy yellow beer in Sloppy Joes and you want one or two solid crafts. The place is rather small and has it's own entrance. Yes of their 6-8 draft choices only one or two really stand out, like, Arrogant Bastard. Because it's the keys you will have trouble finding craft beers but Alona's Garden is soild. The bartender "Les" at Joes was very friendly and beers were $5.50-6.00 you can do better down here. Crawl on down Duval and find a treasure.
