Bottle from Rosauer's. Dark brown, small silky heige head. Light aroma of roast grains and chocolate. Taste is a bit more bold, adding a touch of sweetness and the requisite bitterness. Nothing overly exciting, straightforward porter.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: murky brown hue with a finger of creamy tan foam that leaves a nice thin lace as it dissipates. I like it quite a lot.
Smell: sweet, chocolatey and malty. Volume is kind of low, but I like the big chocolate element.
Taste: sweet and chocolately, much like the aroma, with some ashy roast on the side an a little bit of fruitiness. This is kind of a weird one to me; it's not a traditional American porter. That said, it is at least quite interesting.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good dose of carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this is an interesting beer, but it's a bit to sweet to be super-quaffable.

a very tasty porter here, courtesy of a new friend in colorado springs. never heard of these guys before, those are always exciting bottles to open! its beautiful to look at, head almost two inches tall and thick, tan, and fading only really slowly. the body is black and slick looking, not too thick, but impenetrable to light nevertheless. the nose is bitter drip coffee and and english ale yeast thats rather mild. great deep roast to it, less chocolate malt and mid range toasted qualities than others tend to have, more of a focus on the bottom note, and i like that. the same is true in the flavor, no sweet middle happening here, its the bitter dark malt all the way. coffee grounds and bakers chocolate in there, and the yeast, which tastes like a classic. the feel is really cool because its bitter throughout, with a lot of flavor and grain character, but very little body, even short of medium for the style, so its easy drinking in this way. its also really well carbonated, which seems like too much in the style, but i like what it does for this one, giving it life and expression. a somewhat unique take on the style, still true, but with its own little twists. i love the flavor and the drinkability, and would be keen to try more beer from these guys!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very dark, nearly opaque, chestnut brown with a thin tan head and ring around the glass with light lacing. Aroma of sweet and toasted malt, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Flavor is understated toasted malt, bitter coffee and chocolate. Subdued, but nicely balanced. Semi-dry finish with residual toastiness and hints of coffee and hop bitterness. Medium bodied. A nice, mellow porter with a decent diversity of flavors; fairly low key but a nice finish. I enjoyed this with dinner and liked it more as it warmed.

Sampled at the "Summer's Here" Brewfest in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Saturday, June 16th. The name presumably was inspired by PC's location in Pullman's Old Post Office.
Very dark brown, almost black in color, with a light tan head.
Smelled of modest amounts of coffee and cocoa.
A little bit sweeter than the smell indicated, with the chocolaty elements of the flavor coming to the fore, but with a coffeeish, roasty bitterness keeping things from getting too sweet. Finished on a dry note.
Fairly typical mouthfeel for the style. Medium bodied, with a tongue-coating, sticky mouthfeel.
A pretty good stab at the porter style. While not a worldbeater, I'd definitely have no fear of ordering this when in the mood for a porter
