Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a healthy two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Mild aroma of sweet bready malt and grassy hops; faint sharp spicing. Flavor is also mild; light bready, caramel malt, pear and apple juice, finishes with sweet juice and light hops and Belgian spicing. Light bodied. Flavor is pleasant and fairly well balanced, but very subdued and thin. Appears to be a promising blonde and would be worth trying fresh. This bottle was nice, but too lightly flavored to inspire, even for a low-key style like a blonde.
