Appearance: Slightly hazy bronze orange body under a 3” light linen colored lacy foam cap, dissipates to a thick film.
Smell: light grains, some crystal malt and some freshly kilned malt aromas. Some fruit. Hop aromas are low.
Taste: Starts with a slight malty fruity sweetness and then almost immediately dries out and becomes a touch grassy/herbal astringency in the finish with a hint of tart. The fresh malt flavors linger. Hop bitterness is above average but not mind blowing. Mouthfeel: Moderately creamy, medium body and carbonation.
Overall: Drinkable, bigger than many ambers but still approachable.

Poured a pleasant amber with minimal head and negligible effervescence. Smells of bread, some grains, barely toasted malts and a good amount of floral hops (though rather subdued). Tastes sweet malt forward, pleasant floral hops, biscuit, caramel, no bitterness/hop bite. Mouthfeel was very light almost to the point of being watery (I thought that the can had a leak as it was so flat – but the entire pack was like this). Easy drinking, clean finish.

Overall, the taste was good, the mouth feel was not – just seemed to lack body/texture. It just didn’t feel right. . . I wouldn’t purchase this again (though I wouldn’t turn it down if offered to me at a picnic).

A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white head that quickly died down, leaving some lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted and caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell, having flavors of biscuit, toasted, and caramel malts, with bits of associated sweetness and notes of earthy yeast.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This amber ale seems very malty from the smell and taste, but there enough in a he way of underlying hops to mask any sweetness and keep this beer drinkable.

It is as described - a FLORAL American style Amber Ale. Too flowery for my taste, but if you're into that, this is a good choice.

Pours out a hazy light amber/orange-tinged copper. Thin head. Smells worty, kinda like Grape Nuts. Toast and fruity esters. Taste reminds me of a couple other Colorado flagship brews: has the toasty cocoa of Fat Tire with the big fruity esters of a Great Divide Denver Pale Ale. Mouthfeel is moderate in body with a calm carbonation. Overall, this is far from great, but the characteristics that it shares with the two aforementioned brews gives it nostalgia points with me.

Extremely malty, great nose for an Amber!! Light in hops in my opinion.
