Who dropped their Fruit-Stripe Gum in my beer! I found it!!!

I loooove Crazy Mountain's stuff! Except this one. Maybe good for a Hipster's attempt to get that 'Coors light drinkin' chick into beer.' Ugh.

Not a good APA. I like piney-citrus flavor in my pale ales -not old chewed up tropical fruit flavored bubble gum. Interesting at first, but, nah. Not for me.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger off white head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of biscuit and toasted malts and butter are present in the nose along with some hints of tropical fruits.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, having buttery flavors of biscuit malts along with notes of tropical fruit flavors. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be rather malty for an APA, but has some interesting biscuit and buttery flavors.

Poured into a balloon glass.

Look: A light copper body sits underneath a watery, cream colored head. The head recedes quickly to a film of bubbles while light lacing sticks to the glass.

Aroma: A faint cedar wood presence, faint hops.

Taste: Spicy cedar in the beginning, some apricot fruit notes in the middle, and a hoppy bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: A tad watery.

Overall: A little disappointed as this beer just seemed flat from the get-go. I'll re-review this maybe another time.

seems to have carbonation issues. it seems undercarbonated. anyway, a heavy pour produces very little head. a very one dimensional peach/pineapple fruit flavor on the nose, not in a good way. taste of pineapples with some bready malt.
mouth feel is thin.

I picked up a 6 pack discounted to 2.88. oh well.
