2.65/5  rDev -30.6%
look: 4 | smell: 2.75 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 2.5 | overall: 2.5

Appearance: pours a golden yellow color. a two to three finger white head with pretty good retention and a streaky lacing left on the side. partly hazy but some clarity.

Smell: strong sweet malts come out first. hops come on fairly strong with citrus and some hop resin.

Taste: opens up with crystal malt sweetness. hops come through with citrus and earthy tones. somewhat grassiness to it. ends with more sweetness with notes of lemon bread and some grains.

Mouthfeel: sticky and somewhat grassy. some sweetness to and a lingering grasst sweetness.

Overall: not sure the ages on this one but it doesn't say so I'll post anyways. way to much malt presence and sweetness, and a strange hop taste. too much grassiness comes through.

I think this is Batch 35, though it could be Batch 34

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear golden color with a frothy white head; nice retention and clumps of lace

Smell: Very pithy, with tropical fruit and pineapple tones as well

Taste: Clean malt with lemon pith and tropical fruit tones building; bitterness builds with an aspirin quality in the finish; pineapple in the aftertaste

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A nice clean west coast IPA

Thanks, fthegiants, for the opportunity

Pours from the can a cloudy gold with two fingers of white foam. The nose is floral, pine and some malt. The pine is more predominant in the taste than the floral notes, and there's a decent bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium mouth. Nice little IPA.

Great initial hoppy taste but terrible after taste. Tastes kind of like plastic

look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Bright and clear gold with a rocky and large white head with nice retention and very good lacing.

Nose: Pine and some floral notes. Green and a little malt finish it out.

Taste: Smooth and calm malt up front which is pushed aside by metallic & aspirin. Carbonation and crisp and the lingering mouthfeel is a little sudsy and dry. Some alcohol heat comes through at the end.

Tried it really fresh (straight from the brewer).

Appearance: Very cloudy straw with a fat white head that left plenty of lace.

Smell: Strong floral and piney hops.

Taste: Bitterness is pronounced right up front, balanced well by a dry malt backbone. Alcohol is imperceptible, just some residual hop flavor at the end.

Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation.

Overall: By the book strong West Coast IPA (I probably would not be able to tell it apart from many others). Very good when fresh.
