I figured I would offer a deserving updated review for this location, seeing as no one has reviewed it in 2 years.
For being in Anderson (AKA dead zone for craft beer lovers) this place isn't going to have a great atmosphere, so I don't hold that against them at all. We live in an area of the state where 99.99% of the population doesn't even know anything beyond domestic beers exist.
Over the last couple of years the quality, service, and selection of this place has really done its job at giving consideration to those of us who like to enjoy various craft beers from around the country. Eric knows what caring customer service is about. He will carefully note and consider anything you might request. He will take down your name and number, keep in frequent contact with the local beer rep that supplies them, and will do his absolute best to get whatever you desire in stock.
It is because of Eric's exceptional attention to customer's needs that I believe this particular location has become Anderson's go-to for craft beer selection. In 2012 it started showing significant signs of carrying more variety, and now in 2013 it has elevated even more.
Anderson seems like it is always going to be behind when it comes to just about everything - including craft beer selection - but at least this particular Keg n Bottle location has changed with the times to offer up a good selection for those of us in need of rotating craft beers.

Well where else would you go in the Bud Light town to get anything with flavor? Keg and Bottle!! Out of the 10 or so of them we have in town this is the only one with craft brews. They have probably 30 12oz regulars from breweries mostly in Indiana, Michigan and Illinois. They offer a pick 6 for $9.50 which isn't bad at all. There is nothing spectacular on the shelves, FFF, Bells and Founders are the big ones but only their year round beers offered. FFF is very tough to get which sucks. There are 3 bombers of beer offered; Stone Arrogant Bastard, La fin du monde, and Hoppin Frog seasonal, all of which are overpriced. Staff has no idea about beer, "Gumball? What is that?" But I guess it's better than nothing in this town!
