TROOPER takes its name from the Iron Maiden song which is inspired by the famous Charge of the Light Brigade. Being a real ale enthusiast, vocalist Bruce Dickinson has developed a beer which has true depth of character.

TROOPER is a Premium British Beer inspired by Iron Maiden and handcrafted at Robinsons brewery. Malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.

From the cask at Peter Kavanagh’s in Liverpool. Cask handle said 10th anniversary but this isn’t the X, obviously. Surprisingly I’ve never had this until now but I was missing out. This is delicious. Super fruity with a balanced malt and hop character to round it out. Finishes well, super smooth, infinitely drinkable.

Up the irons and down the hatch, because this brew is a heavy metal masterpiece for your taste buds! I cracked open a bottle of Iron Maiden's Trooper beer, and let me tell you, it's like a mosh pit of flavors in my mouth.

First things first, the aroma hits you like a Bruce Dickinson high note – bold, assertive, and impossible to ignore. It's like a party in your nostrils, and everyone's invited. I could almost hear the distant echoes of "Run to the Hills" as I took that first glorious whiff.

Now, onto the main event – the taste. Trooper is not your run-of-the-mill beer; it's a brew that kicks you in the taste buds with the power of a Steve Harris bass line. The maltiness is as rich and satisfying as a killer guitar riff, and the hops bring a bitterness that's more awesome than a Eddie the Head album cover.

The aftertaste? It lingers longer than an Iron Maiden world tour. It's a lingering sensation that leaves you craving another sip, just like you crave another spin of "The Number of the Beast." The finish is smooth, like sliding into your favorite Iron Maiden T-shirt.

The mouthfeel is full-bodied, just like an Iron Maiden concert – you can feel the intensity in every sip. It's a beer that demands your attention, and by the end of the bottle, you'll be raising your glass to the metal gods, chanting, "Up the Trooper!"

In conclusion, Iron Maiden's Trooper beer is not just a beverage; it's a metal pilgrimage for your palate. So, grab your favorite leather jacket, crank up some Maiden classics, and let Trooper take you on a headbanging journey through the world of beer. Up the irons, and cheers to the Trooper!

I was expecting the worst when I poured this one, based on the reviews. I was surprised that it was fairly good as far a session beers go. Poured from a 500 ml can into a pint glass, this beer featured a beautiful clear copper color. On the initial pour the small white head was fizzy with only average retention. Subsequent pours produced a foamy head and thin bands of lacing. Head retention was a little better than average. Aroma was malty and mild. The taste was malty, slightly sweet with a bit of grassy hops. Pleasant enough!!! Mouthfeel was a bit thin, but then again this is a 4,7 .abv session beer. Nothing I would seek out, but perfectly serviceable as a session beer.

Pours a rapidly dissipating, check that dissipated head. Slowly rising bubbles and a fine golden color. Tastes like slick cold fluid, which is essentially all this ale has to offer. The aftertaste, minutes after is quite literally a cough syrup off flavor. Of the NyQuil variety. Very disgusting. Wouldn't recommend and feel sorry for my brother who was gifted this crap. What a mess.

Just absolute swill. Stale melba toast and astringent shocking malt bitterness. The very worst of "Bitter"

500ml bottle into a dimpled mug. Guestimate on coding could make this 3 years old. Ouch.

Well, this beer looks almost as ugly as Eddie on the label. Hazy pale amber body with a lot of suspended particulates. Aroma is malty with a side of apple, as is the taste. Thin in body, but quite smooth and no aftertaste.

Cold 500 mL bottle poured into a Fear of the Dark pint glass. Gold ale with a small foam. Smells like light malt with an air of sweetness.
Taste is malty flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of hops. Smooth and light. Distinctly British, but not much heavy metal.,
